As a mother I’ve had both a hospital birth and a homebirth. Combining my love of photography with the joy of birth is exciting to me.  I’ve just recently started offering birth photography and hope to start doing it on a more regular basis.  I like to take the time to get to know the families I’m photographing so that we can all be as relaxed as possible once the big day (or night!) comes.  My goal at a birth is to capture all the precious moments you want to remember while being as unobtrusive as possible.

Birth photography starts at $600.  Families will get a disc of the images for personal use.  The pictures will also be put in a password protected private gallery for ordering professional quality prints.

Colleen Moss - Hello,
I was wanting more information on your birth photography that you offer. We are planning a HBAC(Home Birth After Cesarean) with CHOICE midwives out of Columbus. I am due March 25th, 2016. This is my 3rd pregnancy I am pregnant with our rainbow baby. Coincidentally March 25 will be our 1st daughters 2nd birthday and the 26th will be my husbands and I 3rd wedding anniversary. With my daughters pregnancy her EDD was March 19th and I was induced on the 25th, which is also the day we delivered by cesarean delivery.
I was going back and forth on birth photography before I was pregnant and now that I am, I am really hoping that this is something we can afford to do.
The #1 important thing that I want/need out of our photographer is that they are comfortable with the birth we have chosen for ourselves. It wasn’t a quick decision we made for ourselves but it is one that we believe will give myself the best option for a natural birth, one that I desired with my first delivery.
If you are comfortable working with us knowing that gist of information I would love to talk more with you about our birth plan and see if we would be a good match. It would also be great if you could include your birth packages and what that all includes such as do we get photo rights and disc of the images.
Thank you
Colleen Moss
